After this is resolved, someone should go through and translate camaromotorsports posts from Searcy, Arkansas redneck into English.

I don't know why I read this but I can't help but wonder why you didn't buy a new console from GM? You have $50,000 in the car, why risk buying junk?
I just bought all the stuff for an M6 swap from GM, not the lower but the upper and all the boots, 3 days less than $150 and I got new stuff in sealed packages, I'm picky too thats why.

Topic is this: A guy has spent $50,000 on a car and wants a different center console for it, he orders a USED one. Turns out it's a little 'to used' for his personal taste. It's said he is known to be picky.

Buy used and theres no telling what you're getting.

Buy new, you get new parts. New parts are ALWAYS in like new condition.

Now how is this off topic....

Stay on topic? in other words don't ask him to explain his bonehead move.

"A little too used?" Come on... nobody in their right mind would have accepted that console. Bonehead move? Yeah... I made a mistake trusting someone. I have learned my lesson.

It's not that simple for me as I need the entire console. I priced out the complete center console from GM and it's a lot of cash... that's paying 10% over cost too.

I didn't get any money yesterday or today for that matter. UPS should have picked up the console by now. When am I going to get my next refund?

Yeah... it's too slow honestly. I didn't make "installments" when I paid for it. I paid for it in full right away. I have no idea why he is dragging this out over time... but hopefully I will have the rest of the money in the beginning of the week.

I bought some taillights from him last year and when I got them 1 was broke and he said it must have have been from the shipping company even though packaged real good, and said he would send one more out right away, it came pretty quick, not right away but didn't wait forever. But seemed odd to me the way it was broke and no other piece was in there and he said must have been the shipping company.

Hope everything gets resolved for you guys.

Just adding my $0.02 worth. Brandon is a sponsor of our club (West Tennesee F-Body Association) and several of our members have purchased a vast variety of parts from him. I can't recall a single incident or problematic transaction.

I can't answer why he's so strapped for cash right now, but honestly, can any of you say you've never been there before? Stuff happens.

As for the latch switch, I think he should have asked if you needed a black or gray latch before he switched them.

None the less ... I stand beside him.

Just because there haven't been any incidents or problematic transactions before, doesn't make up for how he handled my purchase. Put yourself in my shoes... you'd be pretty upset.

Come on... who doesn't have $150? I don't accept that as an excuse.

You missed the point on the arm rest latch switch. He NEVER acknowledged me when I addressed the fact the the console that he sent me had a different color latch switch than in he one in the picture. Only after a number of posts on this thread from myself and others did he finally mentioned, "Oh yeah, I switched them."

Hopefully I will be done with this ordeal this week.
