I'm done with this until Tony gets back with me. I have better things to do than have a pissing match with you all day long. Hopefully you did actually do the right thing. I tend to have faith in humanity and I'm hoping you're not as bad of a person as you come off to be. I didn't want to make any enemies on here, nor did I want to do anything to screw your life up. I guess i'm a lot more fond of my money than some people are...

Uhm. Anyone who googles your name (which is the same on every forum you post) can get all that info You posted all that information yourself.

Edit: Be more careful next time, keep your personal information out of public places and people wont find it so easy.

Agreed.

You screwed up from the start, you are the one who should have stopped crying long time ago and refunded the guy money to discontinue this mess instead of posting arguments after arguments. What do u mean you don't trust him!?! he's the one who paid and got fucked, isn't he?

refund received in my paypal. Just send him back his LS1 intake. He is now claiming he sent you an LS6 intake and you swapped it out, but admitted it came off a junkyard 2000 Camaro.

I'm thinking mukyluck can't tell the difference between intakes.

Here are the pics of the intake, for public knowledge so they can see exactly what I received. I may pull in a favor at the Sheriff's Dept and have the intake and wrapping dusted for fingerprints so I can be SURE to cover my ***. I'm no scam artist and if I was, I wouldn't do it in some *** backwards manner like this:

I'm of the opinion that PET on the intake relates to the name of a Texas wrecking yard - if anyone can come up with something on this it would be much appreciated.

Pretty sure I located the yard it came from. Parts Unlimited, Inc out of Pearland TX. I'll have to call them monday and verify that this is correct, but considering it's 18 miles out of Houston and the alpha numeric inventory number jibes with their system, I'd say it's pretty likely.

Sure looks like a stock '00 Camaro (LS1) intake to me. Looks like he paid 10x too much for it also, at $350.

I'm pretty sure that they just wrote 350 on it because they were ignorant of the 346 cube designation of our engines, even though they're 5.7 liters.

nah, that looks like a price. Especially since it is written in the "Amt" line (Amount) on the pricetag. These intakes are pricey from the dealership, they try to price their junk a little less than MSRP.

Too me it looks more like they ran out of room to list what it came out of and what motor - not the price. Not that it matters

I had a similar thing happen to me with another ls1tech member. But I was the seller and I shipped the cam I took out of my car in trade for another cam he took out of his car. The day it arrived I recieved a phone call from him saying I sent him a stock ls1 cam. I went to the garage and looked for the right one but all I found was other stock cams that were taken out of customer cars. So i realized all I had in my car was a ls6 cam. I bought it waaaay back before I knew anything about ls1's and was told it was a comp custom grind. So back to the story, I immediately sent the buyer money to cover the cost of the cam he shipped me. No harm, No foul. We never got ugly with each other.

Well, I shipped the intake back priority mail today on my own dime, stuck signature confirmation on it and have a signed statement of the contents of the box by a US postal employee who personally witnessed me putting it in the box and also who took note of every single paint marking on the intake and the casting number. There will be no doubt that what arrives on his doorstep is exactly what I was shipped by him. Now hopefully I can get another intake for a reasonable price.

anyone can claim they receive the wrong stuff. thats wy when I paid more than $300 bucks. I'll video tape when I'm opening the package.been there done that.

ls1formulation honestly your taking it to far, there's no need with all this. all you had to do is, say you filled a police report thats all.if mukyluk dont want any problems he will resolve it. but now mukyluk has prove of how you want your money back.

It's been resolved. He paid me back my money. I don't think I took it too far, as I was out $300 for no good reason. Maybe he didn't know it wasn't an LS6 intake. I don't know. He never did say why I got an LS1 intake instead of an LS6. I don't care either. I got my money back, he got the intake back and it's settled. He's obviously a reasonably good guy since he did the right thing, regardless of how much animosity we expelled at each other. I learned my lesson. Next time I buy something like this I am going to ask for pics, personal numbers , and references before I send anyone my cash. Simple as that.
