Buying parts locally is certainly an advantage-no shipping and you get to inspect the part in your hands.However,you actually have to know what you are looking at!
We all hope the guy turns out to be honest(ground off the part#?) but if you lose your money,it will be a valuable lesson-DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!! There have been 1000's of posts on here about the diff between the two,many with piscs!
