so i went to see the order and it shipped on Oct 21, 2001
only took them 2 years to send my a notice that they sent it out, lol.

Re: gmpartsdirect is SLOW, lol! Tony is 100% correct. Any GM part I have ever needed, and I mean some weird little things Scoggin-Dickey has always had them in stock and cheaper than the dealer!!
Here is an example, I lost a bolt to my intake manifold. Well I called the local dealer to try and get one local. Well first they didn't have any in stock. Second, they wanted to charge me $5 for the bolt. Third they told me I couldn't order just one I had to buy a pack of 10. $50 to replace a missing intake bolt!
I called my guy Tim at SDPC ext 352 =) Not only did they have them but he only charged me $2.75 for the bolt and since it was only a bolt he put it in a foam envelope thingy and mailed it for free US Mail. I got the bolt in 2 days and was back on the road.

Re: gmpartsdirect is SLOW, lol! I've always avoided GM Parts Direct. They have lower listed prices, but INSANE shipping/handling charges. You don't notice until you total the order up to see how much they are screwing you.

Re: gmpartsdirect is SLOW, lol! SDPC2000's prices are cheaper than standard dealer prices, but they aren't that cheap. GM parts direct with its high shipping charges is still cheaper.
