I have searched this forum and on the web and drawn a blank so far.

I am trying to install a 5.3 LM7 with stock alternator into a custom install. I don't have any GM manuals. I have figured out most of the engine wiring except for the two wires on the four wire plug of the alternator regulator.

What are the brown and grey wires?

EDIT: Think I found what I need: http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...d.php?t=217657

So I'm assuming that I can connect a charge light between 12v and the brown wire and I'm sorted.
