will a key fob from a diff car work? Ok, well my dad has an extra key fob from his truck, part number and everything is the same, can i program this key fob to work on my camaro? wat about one from my brothers 00 ws6? will it work on my 99 camaro? part # and everything like that is the same.

go to install documents, then additional key fob remotes. it wouldnt hurt to try

You can program a fob from a different car. There are instructions in the manual. I just did this the other day actually, saved me $30 over buying a new one. Plus if you just purchased a used car I would reprogram the fob/s just so you know there the only ones programmed to your car. Might just be paranoia but better safe than sorry.
