Default embarassing question about head gaskets

I'm assembling my 98 LS1 longblock. Is it ok to have one head gasket GM and the other Fel-Pro? I got the GM 12498543 gasket set but the passenger side gasket has a tear in it. The Advanced Auto close to my house has a Fel Pro gasket.

I'd use the same thing. No need to cut corners when doing an engine build. Thats almost like using different pushrods on each bank. Can it be done? Yes. Is it a good idea? No. Thats just my $0.02. I've done some corner cutting in the past, and it was only redone the right way due to the laws of physics leaving me pissed off.

I was afraid you'd say that.
