well with a 4400 stall and a slipping trans it made 377hp, 340tq. yeah im thinking the
3.73's and an underdrive pulley will get me more where im wanting to be. yeah that new z-max track in charlotte is super nice. if im still here and not deployed that would be fun!

nc98z: yeah i did have a 4k vig that actually was a 4400, it was really nice and would of gotten me the time im wanting, but it was to loose for nitrous, and nitrouse is in the near future so i had it tightened up a bit. also i did pick up an rpm banner so that alone should get me in the 11's

joncr96z: looking forward to seeing you at "the rock"! are you on horsepowerjunkies? if so were you at the track rental this past sunday?
I've tried to register at HPJ but it never works, but I hardly ever look at that board anyway. I was, however, at Fayetteville on Sunday with a friend.

What intake mani are you running? ls1 still? If so, ls6 will wake it up, let alone a fast mani.

Gears are huge to complete the combo. I found this out the hard way. I ran a best of 11.9 @ 114 on a 1.67 60' with 3.23 gears. Once I switched to 4.10's I got a best of 11.5 @ 116 on a 1.55 60'.

Some of that was better weather but the gears definately dropped .2 off my ET, added 1.5 mph to my trap and dropped my average 60' from a 1.67 to a 1.59.

I would move up to a 4000 stall (still N20 friendly), 3.73 gears and a LS6 or Fast 92 intake setup.

Go 4.10s unless you find yourself on the interstate a lot. Then I would do the more street friendly 3.73s

I know a guy that is selling some 4:10s locally. He'll even trade for a busted trans and cash!

ha ha, 4:10s would be bad *** for the track! but its to much gear for a daily driver. it would take me forever to get up to rpm with 4:10s lol. your new set up is going to be sweet though!

i do have a ls6 intake, and i had 93 octane w/ a couple gallons of 110 mixed in. i dont know how much it will help out. but when i hit my 12.00 my computer was shifting 6k instead of 6600 like its suppose to. with the size of my cam im pretty sure that would get me an 11.8x.
