You open the trap door bellow your bumper, then twist the socket to the left and pull out the buld.

You have no real reason to take off the lens.

When I replaced mine I couldn't get the bulb socket back into the housing cause the little gasket seal was to thick, I trimmed it Very carefully with scissors and it went in fine.

no need to take off the lens. just twist the old bulb out and install the new bulb. u can use the trap door on the bottom of the car to easily get your hands on the bulb
