Default Engine swap

So i threw a rod and I have a warranty on my car and my neighbor works at the dealership i took it to, so I have a couple question. I have been looking at 6.0 and 6.3 engines and I was wondering if my ecu and everything would bolt up or if it would even be worth it (power and potential) or if im better off just putting another ls1 in it. Oh yea this is in my 01 ws6 a4-Thanks in advance-Tim

Im pretty sure you would need a new ecu for the gen IV motors (ls2,ls3,ls7). Stick an ls3 in there!

If you were to get a 6.0 LS2 everything will swap over. This has been covered numerous times on this site, just search it up. You will need to change the reluctor ring on the crank and a few other things.

No prob. I would def get the 6.0 if you have the chance. You will be very happy you did.
