Hey guys, I have an 2001 SS with a D/D factory D/D exhaust and NC1 RPO code on the door sticker. Thats the California emmissions right? Does that mean I have the Ring of death in hte muffler? Does it decrease power at all? It sure sounds good!

I think he is talking about the Dual/Dual w/the restriction ring in the tail pipe.

 

I thought the "cone of silence" was only on 2OTLs

2OTL = 2 Out the left exhaust

And for cone of silence... just stick a coat hanger or something long down the back of your pipes. You will know pretty quickly if you have it or not. Should only be in one pipe if you do.
