Default long tube install service engine light on

hey i just installed some pacesetters and a 3 inch tsp y pipe w/o cats. i was just wondering how long it takes for the service engine soon light to come on. i had it come on this morning but i have been driving it for a few days and i was wondering if that is normal? i just want to make sure its not on for a different reason. also does anyone know what the code is for the o2 sensors that have been deleted? thanks in advance

It just depends on the car...I've had some come on instantly, and some take forever.

i guess im going to stop by a auto parts place on the way home today just to make sure its throwing the correct codes, because putting the plugs and wires back in was kind of a beyotch and i just want to make sure im not getting a random misfire code or somthing.

I did not get ses for a few days. When I clear with a scanner, it comes on at different times. There really is no normal.

i guess im probably just a little paranoid about the install, its the first time ive ever put performance parts on one of my cars and nothing went horribly wrong. its really weird usually i have to run to the parts store a dosen times and have it back in the shop for random small things lol. everything went so smoothly

well it is not a good idea, because if he gets another problem with the engine, the check engine light will already be on and he will be thinking that everything is ok.
