Yes, the only difference would be with or without trans cooler. And I've seen some with coolant level sensors, if you don't need that let it plug the hole.

I'm pretty sure they interchange back to the LT1 models.

The only differances are with and w/o tranny cooler and/or coolant level.

The LT1 style is different It has one extra line on one side and missing one on the other.

The LT1 one will work without a problem, ask me how I know..
You just have to cap the spot off on the lower Driver's Side, there is nothing missing, just that extra Hose that goes into the LT1 Water Pump.

BTW, the LT1 Radiator is actually better than the LS1 Radiator.

I think a 98 radiator has a level sensor and the 02 doesn't that would be the only difference. so it you have the level sensor with the rad just leave it on there.

What about vice-versa? Will a 98-02 fbody radiator fit in a 93-97 fbody?

Also, why is an LT1 radiator better?

The LT1 Radiator has more capacity.

A 1" core instead of a 7/8" core. The LT iron block does not dissipate heat as well as LS aluminum and thus requires more radiator...

Cool. I'm swapping an LS1 into my 93 v6 Camaro body. Should I keep that v6 rad or should I get an LT1 rad?

OP, sorry about the hijack

It'll fit in the body, but won't work with an LT1, the LT1 has a small hose fitting on the bottom of the drivers side tank, the LS1 radiators don't have this fitting. LT1 hose diagram.

Now looking at post #9 I don't know why you asked.
So then yes and LS1 radiator will work in a '93-'97 f-body that has an LS1 in it.
