Default 5.3L stroker doner for 1980 camaro

eh im not so into all this new EFI crap..lol..i like carbs =p..but ive been thinkin about an LS stroker for my camaro and going EFI with it b/c of the rarity around my house of this kind of mod..but what my question is..

i know ill need the PCM or ECM..or both

but as far as all the sensors go such as the knock sensor, OBDII port, crankshaft positioning sensor, etc; how do i run all that junk? do i need the wiring harness from the donor vehicle(prob a chevy truck, or suburban..possibly a tahoe)

thats really the prob im running into planning this whole thing up.

and does anyone know if the engine will fit in the HEIDT's or DSE subframe's?

thanks alot for yalls patience

Might be better to start here, especially with the FAQs:

This is also a good resource:

You will need a MAP sensor, you may not need a MAF depending on your set up, you will need an ECT as well as an IAT sensor, VSS Senor helps, Cam position sensor, Crank Position sensor, TPS Sensor, IAC motor. Most of the other stuff can be edited out through the computer, I would recommend KR senors, and O2 senors, but once again you might not need them.
