vacuum line on the back of the Intake manifold

vacuum line on the back of the Intake manifold On the back of the Intake manifold... there is the Brake booster, the MAP sensor and a vac line.. what is this vac line for? When i took my FAST off, it wasnt connected to anything 
so i put a plug on it. What is it for? thanks.

I believe it had something to do with EGR but you already capped it so your good to go
