Unless you're getting an LS6 intake with an EGR port, you'll need a block-off plate for where the EGR connects to the manifolds.

Also, get some ratcheting wrenches. They'll help out _a lot_.
And, read up on the oil pressure sending unit and how you can avoid breaking it when doing the swap. It's very common to break it during an intake manifold swap, so beware.

^^^What he said about the egr and watch the brake booster hose doesn't brake the oil pressure sendind unit. You'll also need these http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/cate...MID=1&catid=12 the ls1 has a coolant pipe running under the intake. This is block off's for the rear head ports and a crossover for the front.

Exactly what I did when I installed an LS6 intake on my '99 Z28. Luckily I had a spare set of coolant lines sitting around. I laid them on the underside of the intake, lined up in pretty much the exact position, marked it off and used a dremel with sandpaper to remove the fins and clearance the bottom of the intake so that I could keep the original coolant lines. When I did the swap I didn't even have to touch them. Also remember the two plastic clips that hold the knock sensor harness - I ground a little extra in those locations to make sure I had enough clearance.

Sorry, but I don't have a picture of the underside of the intake after grinding, but I am confident you can figure it out.
