Quick question.... Hey everybody, I just wanted to know if i buy a used 02 ls1 a4 (or crate engine, still undecided), will it work in my 99? If I buy an 04 GTO engine will it work besides changing the oil pan? Will everything just plug right up? Were there any changes to the harness? Thanks for your time.

The '02 engine will go in with no problems. Everything is the same.
The '04 GTO engine uses a different wiring harness and maybe a sensor or 2 is different. Using your existing harness, oil pan, and acessories everything should work out.
