Default O2 sims and po430 code

Ok well the car is a 2002 camaro ss M6. I have a po430 code and a SES light on. I did use the search function but I guess it's down or something cause it won't work for me. Do I need to replace the cat, the O2 sensor, or should I just get sims. I'm going to need to go to inspection soon so I need to know what I need to do.

Inspection?
What State, & what kind of inspection?

That'll help determine the proper answer.
If the tech people find the O2 simulators, you'll be in trouble.
They've been outlawed all over.

Most likely the passenger side cat - call your dealership - should be covered under the extended GM 10year/120K cat warranty.

would there be anyway for them to just give me the cat and then I'd put it on myself?

Does this code hurt the performance or MPG at all?
