Default SLP LM1 vs. Magnaflow Catback

right now i have a stainless magnaflow catback with no resonator and its really quiet until i get on it and then it wakes up a little, but just sitting there it is way too quiet. I was wondering if i should just go out and get a LM1 catback or if there is anything i can do to my current exhaust that'll make it sound at least decently loud

I have a LM1 and really like the sound, some poeple think it is to loud. The cheapest thing to do is remove your muffler and add a piece of pipe.

Full exhaust wakes it up a bit

I just installed PS LT's and ORY i think its loud enough to cause problems in the neighborhood if its late.

Cutout or Pacesetter LTs and ORY. Granted I've got a 224/228 cam, but the sound with the Pacesetters, ORY, and Magnaflow is perfect to me. Not insanely loud when just cruising, but not quiet by any means. Great tone, though. I've gotten multiple compliments from all kinds of people just sitting at a stoplight. And when you get on it, it gets pretty loud and mean.

ive got pacesetters longtubes, ory, and magnaflow and a cam and its still quiet. ive actually tossed around the idea of going with a loudmouth. then again, i dont want to attract any cops.. so i might just add a cut out.

I ran mine with just the cat less Y pipe and it still sounded weak.

Every time I hear open headers on 350, I still think it's weak.

I am just use to hearing a big block with just 3" mufflers. When you hear that for a long *** period of time, everything else seems - eh'. You feel that **** in you checst.

If you wan't pretty loud and throaty and have cash to spend. Get a true dual settup with mufflers only.

LM1 uses a straight through resonator while the LM2 uses a straight through muffler
