there's a whole forum chock full of drag radial goodness called Wheels & Tires, or a search would work well. generally speaking, you'll get the most miles out of nitto DR's on the street, and they hook well if u heat them. i dont know what you're running, mods, etc, so again you'll benefit most from rocking out to the search feature.

Thats the DR I bought. I do believe its the longest lasting DR you can buy (rated for 15k)... so with that said its probably not the stickiest... but i'm just assuming that. Im sure its good enough though.

MT/Hoosier = stickiest. If you're a bolt on car Nitto's will be fine.

Mickey Thompson ET streets are good, but won't last too long. Nittos will last a while but aren't as sticky as the ET streets.

Everything's a trade off with tires. Stiff sidewalls are good for road noise, but bad for traction. Soft compound is good for traction, but bad for longevity. Anything that hooks half decent is probably enough to kill your stock 10 bolt though, lol.

What're your mods? Street car? Track car?

I as well as many other people I know with 500+rwhp do great with Nitto's on the street. They are a great street tire IMO. I dont have any traction issues at all unless I dump it at like 4k. They dont seem to work well at the track unless you get them super hot.

Glad to hear this about the nittos, because I am on a stock 10-bolt and am getting nittos. Just wanted a bit more traction but nothing too insane.

I'm looking at Nitto 555R also because of the size choices, cost, longevity, and a little better traction/rain tolerance on the street.

Haha, you must be new here. This site is where functional search features come to die.

they are decent tires for everyday use but not very good for the track. I daily drive the summer on bf goodrich dr's and they are much better then nittos but dont last quite aslong. M/t's are the best tho but u will be ok with nittos

Sounds to me like you need to work on your suspension setup. Do you have a TA, LCA's, relo brackets etc?
