Replacing Thermostat Question

so i want to replace to a cooler thermostat so its not constantly running in the 200s. Can i just put in a lower one and that good or will it need tuned and throw codes?

Leave the 'stat alone, the problem is fan settings
and short airflow. Minor tune fiddling is all you
need.
