Installed new bbk long tube headers
I just installed a set of bbk long tubes with y pipe. I removed my cats and put in o2 sims. No engine light. But i noticed i had and air pump that put air into my eghaust manifaults and my new headers did not use this. So i removed the hoses from the pump, but pump is still working and is noisy. How can i shut the thing off? Hope i don't need this. Any advise?

its called EGR and AIR delete, just unbolt your egr and the line that goes into the top of your intake and put a freeze plug in it, then for your air pull the lines out of the car and then your air pump will be under your drivers side light. you will have a ses light but it wont be on or noisy.

O2 simulators trick your computer into thinking you still have your cats. It plugs into your after cat o2 senser harness and ties back. You don't use your after cat sensors. I got them from after thoughts auto for around $80. You will not get a check engine code with these when you remove your cats. My car is a 2002 trans am ws-6 with underdrive pullys, slp air lid kit, tuner, and complete eghaust and i just put 19" zo-6 roms on the front and back with nitto invo rubber. 305/30-19 on rear.

I really like them so far. Looks good and fits great. They went in super easy, i didn't even have to remove a sparkplug or even have to fight to get them in. We used a lift and just put them in from the bottom. It was the nicest fitting headers i've seen!
