Same thing happened to me after I got the new radiator. The two hoses under the cap was switched. Make sure they're okay if you took them off.

This was an issue on the 2001's(dont know about 99's). My buddy (has a '01 WS6) and I recieved notices from GM about the problem. We both had the cap replaced under warranty.

I think I remember reading a thread about "Stant" making the faulty caps.
