Camshafts
Ok... I love the sound of old school muscle, and I am saving to do H/C work up along with some other goodies (bolt on's things of that nature) I have been shown a few different cams by people but I just discovered the Comp Cams Thumpr line and I really think I wanna go with one, all of the cams listed below I found on Thunder Racing.com which is an amazing site but which one will offer me the performance I am looking for with some amazing sound?? Only cause I am still tryin to learn about lift duration, LSA and inlet/oulet specs still sucks bein a newb...
Thunder Racing TRak cam:
Thunder Racing Custom Camshaft
"TRak" - 231/234 .640/.590 112 LSA 2400-6800 RPM Power Band. Excellent mid-range & high RPM power. 3200+ stall, 3.42+ gear, computer tuning required. Due to the fast ramp rate of this camshaft, the use of 1.8 rockers is not recommended. Comp 921 Valve Springs are highly recommended.
Comp Cams Big ***** Thumpr:
Comp Cams BIG *****' THUMPR Hydraulic Roller Cam 235/249 .573/.558 109 LSA, Street/strip, needs 9.5:1 CR , 2800 stall, intake, gears, & headers, very rough idle. RPM range from 2600 to 6800.
Or do I go with something a little less aggressive in the Thumpr line and do this one?
Comp Cams ***** Thumpr:
Comp Cams *****' THUMPR Hydraulic Roller Cam 227/241 .563/.546 109 LSA, High performance street/strip, needs 9:1 CR, 2500 stall, intake, gears, and headers, rough idle. RPM range from 2300 to 6600.
Tell me what y'all think

yeah the custom grind cams are becoming more popular now because they make great power if the person who speced them out knows what theyre doing. And PatrickG and predator-z know what theyre talking about.
