im just thinking out loud, are you sure your not talking about an engine sqeak or bird chirping sound? that would be the tensioner or idler pully. i hope you solve your problem, cheers

yaeh, its really cool to look in and se headers, and the sound is great, these engines really do have a sound that is a little noiser than most,, try washing the engine when you wash the car, it might help a little,, then spray a little armorall on the belt,,,, i dont understand Californias deal for epa standards, is it a visual check or a smogsniffer check,

Actually yeah, the tensioner is a bit chirpy, but that I've identified... It's the click-y ticking-ish noise I'm tryin to eliminate... Had the tensioner on my LT1 Z28 get real loud, apparently it's a common thing with camaro?
