Default dyno tune vs. mail order tune

I have a 01 ws6 with lid/LT's/ORY/borla/160* thermostat. I seem to be getting pretty crapy gas mileage. All filters, fliuds, plugs, and wires have been changed in the last 2000 miles so I think that my air to fuel ratio maybe off. So my question is would I be better of getting a dyno tune or a mail order tune? I dont plan on any head/cam/nos at least not any time soon.

dyno by far they can tell you what you car is doing at that moment
get a tuner and then get to the dyno and you can do the air fuel and spark and just pay for the pull where i live i got the tuner for 300 and three pulls for 75 they charge 500 for them to do the tune and dyno my a/f was off and i fixed it with the tuner and you get to keep the tuner

well my first try was a mail tune and i did request a street drivable tune they did miss turning off my EGR which i requested (thru a code) when i dynoed my A/F was 13.8:1. i later had a local speed shop retune which brought the A/F to 13.1:1 and i gained 13 rwhp over the mail tune. on a mail tune dont cry if its not dead on. just my 2 cents CHEERS!
