I rather have a f body over a corvette,I'm not a irs fan and a f body can out handle a corvette with enough money in it.But buy which ever you like and can afford remember insurance will be higher on a corvette it is a sports car.

Came to a conclusion !
@ raysadude
I live about 30min from Hannover.
Finally i made a decision:
I'm going to buy a C5 Z06 as it seems to be the best regarding suspension and horsepower.
The one I have in sight already makes about 390 rwhp and looks pretty cool.
I'll post some pictures as soon as the deal is made.
Thanks to all who helped and posted a comment
Can't wait now I'm too excited

It IS an object and I'm on a tight budget.
But I think I've made a good deal (the seller also). As soon as the bill of sale is signed I'll post some pics ;-)

Nice choice on the Z06.
It's already been said, but I chose SS over a Vette due to (other than $) practicality of the back seat and decent hatch space, more common for parts and service, I dont have to park in the back of parking lots taking up 4 spots, roping it off and posting an armed guard.
In praise of the Vette tho, the F body has the mullet factor, and the vette just gets more attention. The other day at work my (beautiful in my mind) red SS was parked near a yellow C6 and some girls were talking about how beautiful the Vette was. I was like yea what about the SS? Of course my bolt ons arent enough to beat even a stock C6 but it wouldnt take too much but still its an SS, aggressive hood scoop, spoiler, red-classic sports car color, etc, where's my recognition!?
Anyways dead horse. Again beautiful Vette! I bet it is at least a little exotic over there. I've spent some time there and Porsche, M3, etc are too common but I never saw any American muscle there.

On a similar note- the other day, I caught a guy driving by in a brand new ZR1. (Silver, loud, SEXY.) I started bugging him about his car and was tryin to get as much of my nose on the window as I could, and when I told him I drove a Camaro SS (which was elsewhere in the parking lot) he knew right away which car I was talking about. He had a couple nice things to say about my Fbody, and what I'd done to it. I'm sure it was pity, but nonetheless... He was probably just tryin to get me off of his car
