EGR removal ONLY (right now)
I don't have block off plates yet for the AIR removal so I was wondering can I do just the EGR at this time and wait to do the AIR ? Or is there going to be something special I'm going to need for just the EGR ? Will it effect anything only doing the EGR right now ?

OK great, now I'm going to search for a link to show EGR removal for a 2000. If I don't find what I need or have any questions I'll have to ask here. I know there will be alot of threads on this so please don't flame me guys. Thanks!

Your going to need block off plates for the egr too. It goes straight into the exhaust manifold. It is pretty self explanatory just by looking at it and how to take it off. You will also need a plug for your intake. Why do you want to delete it?

In my opinion you are better off simply cleaning up
the intake manifold throat, saw off the "pecker" so
it's flush and call it good. EGR gives you a minor
fuel economy bonus and your timing is all set up for
how it works; if you simply block it off you may pick
up part-throttle ping. It wants tuned to be right if
EGR goes away.
Check out the various writeups and see if you find
one that is like what I describe.
