I love my Borla. You can adjust the 'volume' with the different size openings you place in the passengers side exhaust pipe. I have high flow magnaflow metal substrate cats and it rocks. But I would not go with this set up without the cats. You will get that nasty raspy sound without the cats upstream.

if you cant find it used i wouldnt get it. i cant validate spending over 1000 bucks on a catback. if you want borla sound, get a TSP rumbler, some tips and a xr1 muffler. thats roughly 550 factoring in installation for the tips and muffler

Where do you figure it's $1000... I got mine last year for $800 brand new. But anyways I absolutely love my Borla catback. I'm currently running the wide open plate with kooks LT's and catted y... It's extremely loud when I get on it, but very quiet when I want it to be. Slightly raspy but has a deep tone to it.

its 1000 from borla, and yes it can be had for cheaper. but you are still paying 800 bucks for essentially a cutout

borla is a very top notch exhaust system. i just cant stand the exhaust tips on these cars. but i would definitely try and find a used set for a much cheaper price.
