Intake question.. Please help.!!

Intake question.. Please help.!! He guys I have just bought a 00' C5 Vette, I was told that I have the LS1 intake, and that I should get the LS6 intake. After shopping around, I am looking at around $450.00 for the intake, is this good advice? Should I get the LS6 intake? Or what do you guys recommend.? for the best performance.
if you want to wait, in about 6-8 weeks some numbers should start comming out on the new lsx intake. marketing claims are 10-15hp over an ls6 intake. the intake is pretty trick, but at 800 bucks its not for me. the ls6 intake is great also is you go that route, proven to make good power on stock sets and more on a h/c car. if you pay 450 it better come with the new coolant tubes.

Sure, the LS6 intake manifold will free up a few hp (maybe 10rwhp on a non-H/C LS1). I think that there are better mods to do first. It's not worth the money in my eyes. You can run low 11's with the LS1 intake and I'm sure you can go much quicker than that.

Yea man there are defiantly better mods to do than a manifold swap, you could buy some Pacesetters and an ORY for around 500 bucks. If you are an A4 I would strongly advise saving your money and buying a converter. You should defiantly take a look at all of the sponsors products---> Good Luck
