what GM PN to get rid of cruise control on LS1 ? I want to clean up the engine bay and get rid of the cruise control. what GM PN or aftermarket pN do i need to get to get a throttle cable that ll bolt right on ?

I'm pretty sure you think the traction control asm. is the cruise control. The cruise module is inside the drivers fender. The TCS module is near the battery. As for the cable, just order one for a car without traction control and do the same for the cruise if you still want to keep it. Try http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm for the cables.
