Is the corsa pro-series 4" ..product 14148 really worth $1000.00
I have done some research, and if Lingenfelter uses Corsa it has to kick a--. But is it really worth $ 1000.00 ? And what is a good y-pipe to use. Any help would be appreciated.
Picked her up in june--65,000 miles..SLP # 2210, very well taken care of. Added SLP lid, has loud-mouth II but its factory and not quite as mean sounding as I want.....need y-pipe,catback,and a nice tune--screw the handhelds--Custom Tune only.

No, The Corsa exhaust isn't worth $1,000. Magnaflow will
perform as well for less than half the price.
It's an awesome sounding exhaust though.
Do longtubes & a matching y-pipe or keep your stock y-pipe.
BTW, the factory SLP exhaust would be the dual dual catback.
The LM2 is an aftermarket unit.

Is it worth $1000? Well, "worth" is a relative term. In terms of power per dollar, it's not worth anywhere near $1000, when you consider that a well placed cutout will provide similar gains for $30 and the cost of welding. On the other hand, if you love the look, sound, fit & finish, etc., then it might well be worth the money for those who can afford it.
The catback on my '98 Z is a Bassani, which is pretty pricey too (I think near $800 these days?), though back when I bought it they were about $550. I liked the sound, fit, and quality...but if the question is, was it worth it just for the power.... the answer is no. Would I buy it again though? And was it worth it for the quality/fit/sound? Absolutely on both counts. If you're on a tight budget though, go for a cheaper system.

you can do with just the muffler for now. you have a lot of options. as far as the y pipe, SLP makes a "smoother" y pipe, but you can go with TD's and keep the factory cats in place

Much appreciation
Thanks to all your replies and good response on " Worth " there RPM..I would rather pay a little more and be happy then to pay $ 500.00 and think it sucks..Some people say, and I believe that u get what u pay for-- but I just wanted some other opinions.
You guys Rock..Any advice on a good Cam would be helpful as well.
Nothing major just a good streetable cam.
Theres NO Replacement for Displacement - The LS1 is a great motor.

Don't look back..
Just a quote that stuck in my head ---I get it...Thanks 4 the advice on the cam there 91 and fn.
I have about $2000 - $2500.00 right now to get this car started..There is a local shop here called Chuck's Speed Shop in Phoenix that has a good history and nice equipment..
LT Headers, SLP Y-Pipe, Corsa Pro-series Catback then a good tune, or Cam it then get the tune.....and if I am going to Cam it...might as well throw a Stall in Right??
So much to do, so little time.....Looking 4 a reliable 11 to 11.5 second daily driver. Not too much to ask huh!?!

if i were you i would keep the dd then get a good header/y setup and put an e-cutout on there and get a stall. thats under 2500. may even be able to swing a ls6 intake. all that stuff is a great start. you'll want all that before you throw a cam in the car.

Weight reduction is the best way to pick up speed cause it's usually cheap and saves wear on other parts. You will sacrifice comfort though if it's a DD... There is a weight reduction thread around somewhere that tells you what you save with each mod.
Yes get a GOOD stall but when you start making 11-11.5 power go ahead and get the tranny upgraded so it doesn't grenade and take your new pricey stall with it......

The Corsa sound note is unlike others, its pure sex. Even borla can not match it.
I sold my old Corsa for 400.00 Cash. I am sure you can find a used Corsa for near the same price.
I will be putting the Corsa 3.5 back on my T/A even after the new motor, the exhaust will most likely drop me 100+rwhp but who needs a lot of power on the street. Removable Y-pipe at the track...
Corsa + LTs + ORY = OMG
