What heads do you have? We offer CNC porting as well as upgrades to larger valves and better springs. We can also get you setup on a complete cam package. Give me some details on your car and what you have done as well as some goals and we can get you fixed up with everything you need!

What are you wanting out of the car? What kind of driveability are you wanting? Would you like me to quote you on a cam package and porting your heads? Let me know and I'll make it happen!

Thanks!

First thing I would get is a set of LT headers and a stall converter. Really any aftermarket cam needs some LT headers to get the full potential out of the cam. A set of Pacesetter headers would work fine. It doesn't take an expensive stainless set. Also, a converter will open your options up for camshafts. With the stock converter, you are really limited to something like a 224 duration camshaft. Any larger than that, you will more than likely be pushing through the brakes.

Realistically, to put down that kind of number, it is going to take a camshaft in the 230's on the duration with a good set of heads. Keeping it budget friendly, I would probably look at the PRC 2.5 5.3L heads and cam package. The heads will come fully assembled w/ stainless valves and PRC Dual .650" springkit. These will be ready to go out of the box. They will also give you a decent jump in compression with the 62cc chambers. Depending on cam selection, you can probably mill the heads a bit more to bump the compression further.

From the sound of what you are wanting out of the car, I would go with something like a Torquer v.3 cam and these heads. The cam will have a nice aggressive idle yet still drive well on the street. I would put in a 3000 stall speed converter and you should be set. It would make for a pretty quick street/strip car. Let me know what you think and we'll see if we can get some pricing put together for you!

Thanks!

how much $ would I have to give to have my 853 w/ stock size valves, ported?
what all is done? deshould valves?
5 axis port?
mill?
flow test?ect.
how long doe's it take & will I get the same 50RWHP that you'all claim on the PRC heads?

Lastly is PRC affilleated Texas speed because looks like you are the only co. that sells PRC?

C'mon Jon!!! Not trying to be a nit picky douche but you, me and others on here know that after your bowl cleanup those heads are are 63cc and a little change. An OEM 5.3 head is 62cc but you already know this.... I cc'ed 2 chambers on each of my PRC 5.3 heads and they were all slightly more than 63cc. Others on here have had the same results so it is not just me!

I know it is still good for about .6-.7 point pickup in compression but why don't you just be upfront about the actual chamber size?????
