Who would win in a race between LT1 and LS!??? Wednesday is our local test and tune night at the dragstrip(Sunshine Speedway in Clearwater FL). I have a 1998 Trans Am Ram Air that has a basically stock motor with a cut base intake ram air mod, K&N with whisper lid, cut EGR tube, flowmaster after cat exhaust (3in) and stock programming, Tubular adj. LCA's and tubular adj. panhard bar (BMR). My buddy has a 1994 Firebird Banshee LT1 with a cold air intake, shorty headers(not sure of what brand) y pipe, gutted cat and after cat exhaust, hypertech programmer, 160 stat, subframe connectors, tubular LCA's and panhard bar. Who do you think has a better shot at winning in the 1/8 mile? I have never ran this car at the track, and my bud has ran a best of 8.58 in the 1/8 mile.
