Default Need help on compression tester

I can't seem to get the compression tester to work on my 02 transam. Not enough room to get the damn thing screwed in. Is there any other easier compression testers out there other than the screw in type. And whats the best way to check it without removing the headers?

No, LS1's have MLS gaskets, completely reuseable.
