Default LS1 Motorsports Direct Flo Air Lid Install tips

I'm going to be installing this tomorow on my 2001 WS6. I've got the breather filter, but I don't have the additional IAT sensor. How do I get this off the factory lid? Any tips would be great! Thanks!

Take it off with a flathead screwdriver, but be real careful not to break it. Then pop the grommet out and install it on your lid, then pop the IAT in.

Here is a link that might help you a little:

Make sure that the lid is seated in the groove on the front of the air box and that the tabs at the rear are slipped into their appropriate slots. If it's not seated into the front groove, the rear clasps for the lid will not lock down into place.

Also make sure that the MAF is slipped on the end BEFORE you lock the lid down. This will be especially helpful to remember if you're using a Smooth Bellows.

Patience is a key to getting the IAT sensor out. It's a good idea to be sitting down with the lid in your lap rather than trying to do it while standing over the engine.
