Default header install

This question is not really about headers. The instructions said I need to raise the car 36 inches. Do you think cement blocks instead of jack stands will be a safe solution.

Get the jack stands. To get it that high, you may want to look for the truck jack stands which allow you to get it to that height. Safety first!! Good luck.

Never use cinder/cement blocks, you might get away with it for awhile, but the car only needs to fall on you once! Smokin01's method sounds like the way to go.

I used a floor jack and a block of wood too. Not the safest of methods, but that's what I did. I also had a friend there to help me out. Here's a pictoral look at my header install....

I used 4 jackstands and had the car raised 19". No problems getting those headers in.
