Default Remove crossmember and upper phr brace?

Hi

Would removing these parts do any harm or affect the car in any way, or are they over engineered dead weight?

Thanks for the info

I would leave the panhard rod alone. If your looking to cut some weight loose the A/C, EGR, and air pump. Get some headers and Y pipe with out cats, I would guess both of my headers weigh as much as 1 cast exhaust manifold. Also look in to a tube K member and remove the spare tire.

I would guess I lost 100 pounds or so with every thing I just listed, the K member was good for alot of weight and it makes working on the cam much nicer. I can remove the oil pan if I have too as well with out lifting the engine.

Awesome build up

I'd LOVE to do the k member, but shipping would be a killer, my sways and watts are going to be bad enough lol!

Got a few plans for stripping some weight though, I can see 190 (ish) LB I could drop without getting too exstream

Oh, the crossmember's comming off!

I removed both from my personal car when I was daily driving it and it had no problems at all. Shouldn't hurt a thing!

Thanks!
Jon
