Well ive managed to lose the only set off keys I have to my car. I've looked every where for them and it looks like im going to have to go to a gm dealer and get a set made. Anyone know how much these cost? I need a ignition key, door key, and a keyless entry chip. Any idea's?

Last time I got a door key made it was ten dollars give or take a dollar. I was afraid to ask about the others sorry.

Hmm thats pretty cheap. Did you have a key that they copied? Im worried about the ignition key, Im sure the chip in it will cost a pretty penny.

The chip is nothing more then resistor but it still doesn't mean the dealer wont try to rip you off. The ignition key shouldn't cost more than 30 dollars

I was in your shoes last weekend...i actually have a thread that i started called"Lost My Key" I got my key yesterday. 24.95 For the Key and 19.71 To find out what the resister code is...There is 1-15 of them. Took the guy 5 mins to cut it and take my money. They were out of door keys so i have to wait till friday to get mine but the guy said they were like 6 bucks. I paid like 50 bucks for it and with the door key it was gonna be exactly 62.99. Just hope your ignition cylinder hasnt been changed because the dealer can only make keys off your VIN. You will also have to show proof of ownership. Good luck man...Im happy im driving my car again

I went right to the dealer had to take title and ID. They made it on the spot.
