Well I just bought some pacesetter LT's so that install should keep me busy for a while. The reason I havent bought a LS6 intake is that it's expenssive if you ask me. 600 bucks for that thing? yeah...Installing it would be easy enough though.

You can find them used for around 300 bucks. Look in the parts section. A intake manifold will make some pretty good gains on that setup. Your not flowing the ammount of air the setup wants. LS6 intake and a set of hooker longtubes will probably pick the power up atleast 30 wheel.

You should have seen how it ran before I had it tuned with those mods. It was terrible.

With what you've done so far you should pick up a good 35 HP from the headers and intake, maybe more. Then stick some 4.10 gears in your 10-bolt so you can see what the acceleration is like while you save for your 12-bolt rear.

I'd say closer to 35 to the rear wheels in total...but if you tune further to compensate for the headers and intake you will squeeze out more power.

Don't expect any HP change from the filter, and be careful not to over oil it after you clean it...

I get free pcm tunes for a year from Texas speed so no problem getting those LT's tuned in. I might as well get a shock tower brace too since those are pretty cheap. A lot of people do seem to worry about over oiling those filters, but I'm pretty confident that I can spay just enough on there. Or let it sit for a bit to drain some extra lube off.
