Tried German Castrol 0w-30

Haha, yeah that's pretty much my case, it's way quieter now with PP, and yes, it's cheaper, can't beat that.
I noticed the Pennzoil Ultra as well? but I wonder how much of a difference it would be to justify the extra money.
I think the Ultra is like $4-5 more for a 5 qt jug, so I'll wait for some tests to show if it's worth the extra dough.
Yes pennzoil makes good synthetics, as far as conventional, not so sure about that.

You guys need to buy the stuff when it's on sale, which is about once a month.
I get 6qts and a K&N filter for about $35 after tax at Autozone.
I've been using it for about a year now but have mixed things up with some M1.
Both sound about the same, however I get on average about ten more PSI using GC.

Not an LS1, my daily driver 08 colorado I5
In my GTO I change the oil almost once a month weather it needs it or not. 20W50 VR1 or Rotella.
My daily driver, I'm thinking of changing filter and dumping in 1qt every 5,000 miles, have the oil tested every so often.
In many industrial applications their is no oil change interval, fluids are tested every 90 days and changed or topped up as needed.
Heres German Castrol after 7500 miles, still at 4.7 TBN, Viscosity was 10.5 cst@ 100ēC
May have a coolant leak, 45k miles hasn't needed any repairs to date.

On a cold start it is totally quiet for about 5 seconds. Then, the slapping starts and it's pretty loud until fully warm. Once fully warm, the sound level is reduced by about 50-75%, sometimes it goes away *almost* entirely when it's really hot out, but it's always there a little bit.

Why doesn't anyone like AMSOIL? This and RedLine products are the only fluids I will use in my car!

As for Oil filters, I use Canton; expensive as fuuuuck, but they are the ****!
Edit: Motul 300V is another "BEST" you can buy... good stuff, but like Amsoil, it's $14-/+ a quart. Motul 8100 Eco-nergyis great **** too and more for the street. They 300V is an all out racing formula.
