How much does it typically cost to convert the LS1 into a 383?

 

A good rotating assembly will run you in the neighborhood of $2000-2500 depending on the parts used. You will also have a couple hundred in block work to hone the cylinders and clearance the block, etc. From there it would be assembly. Here's a link to some rotating assembly options.
