Talking SSRA the best !!!!

Hello:

I want let you all know that SSRA is the best set up has ramair you can buy rigth now. That istalation is so simple and clean,it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to do it.It fit perfectly and the quality was 10 out of 10.Know in the performance side it was greate .
My friends car is a 98 z28 M6 3.73,slp lid and slp cai,bbk tb,goted cat and 26x9/16 MT sportman pros. The car ran 13.12 all nith at 105.01 miles 1.91 60' avarage. We only replaced the Slp cai with the SSRA and went 12.86 @107.43 with 1.97 60'.We made 3 runs in the 12.8 that nigth with the pases @ 107.s.
Man $199 for a solid .26 of second and 2.5 miles. Is no beter deal for 20 minute of my time and 200 bucks..SSRA rules .Oh and the customer service from Al was the best in the planet,i recomend it to everyone as a first mod.I'm so impress and happy with it.Happy new year!!

I agree, this is one of my favorite mods so far. I really noticed better throttle response and an increase in power. I think it even gave me better gas mileage. I agree Al at Austin performance Inc was great to work with.

fastsspr, those are some great improvements in times.

That's how it works. Better quality and design usually cost more.

I find those gains hard to believe. Has anyone else documented that kind of performance increase?

Me too. Unless done on back to back runs it's not really a valid claim. There are too many other things involved. I'm not negating the product though.

I'm always scraping the plastic air foil under the front of my lowered Z. Will I ding the SSRA as well?

from the pics id say yea. also the ftra doesnt pic up water on a daily driver nearly as easy as that pic shows the ssra to do. probably a tad better because of the air inlet catching a bit more air than the ftra but for a daily driver not a good idea. also the gains probably had some weather factors in there also. mine will change 3or 4 tenths with extreme weather changes.

I know maybe is hard to belive but we have all the prove (Time slips)My friend car is at the track like 2 to 3 times a month it has over 75 pases in the 13s and the day we tested the SSRA we do it at the track before and after with slp CAI to make a fair competition .The FRA is a good unit but honestly it can't make a true ram air efect. Is logic the lower scoop make huge diference in desings when you see both of them. And it a heat socker mean less HP .
In my opinion it worth the investment 2 times with results we had .
