Default Torque Converters ?

Can someone answer some of my question about TC. First is i drive an auto 2001 camaro would torque converters make any differents on how my car will accelerate if i get one? Does it work and how does it work? and would you recomend it? and wheres the best place online to get one. thanks hope your opinions

Just check out our sponsors to get one. Also there are some used ones being sold in the "for sale" section as well. A friend of mine has one and it's makes the auto kick A$$. The torque converter simulates your a4 into thinking it's a m6.
It's amust for a4 owners. I plan on getting one soon, just too expensive right now for me.

A converter is THE single best mod one can make to an A4 equipped LS1.

Get familiar with this and you'll learn more than you ever care to know about converters...

Looks like he might be minus a couple cylinders, guys. At least his name would lead you to believe so. I'm not sure if the LS1 converter works in the V6 cars or not. I know the LS1 and LT1 converters are different.

A converter would still probably be a good mod for your car, though. You could try calling Yank and get more information about V6 applications.

Oops, I didn't catch that. A converter would still be a GREAT mod for a V6 though. I'm betting the converters for the V6s are the same as far as bolting up (though the stall speeds would be different due to having less TQ.)

Yea man...hands down the best mod for an A4...not to knowledgable on TC's for an A4 though...If you do get one you will defiantly love it...Good Luck

Thats the ONLY source you should ever need for torque converters. Give Mike a call there. Yank's are the best on the market if ya ask me. look in my sig and ya see that I run a vig..... not for long!!!!!!!!
