It really all depends on how strict your dealer is. I've seen some guys get away with every bolt-on in the book including LTs with ORY, etc., and not hear a word from the dealer. But then there are dealers that will want to refuse you for an aftermarket catback. So it's hit or miss really....

Legally as long as the part you put on didnt cause the failure it should be covered under warrenty. Real World RPM WS6 is correct it depends on the dealer and the area rep (THE AREA REP IS A HUGE PART!!). So if you have a 12-bolt, heads/cam/exhaust, and your AC compressor goes out it should still be covered. If you have engine problems and put on an LS6 intake (pre 2001) they wont/dont have to cover it. Then there are gray areas like having a 12 bolt and a have a rear caliper malfunction. Its still the stock caliper but not on the stock rear, up to dealer.
There are no definate mods. I have seen dealers void a warrenty because of a K&N filter, after market shifters, audio systems and such. Granted these are EXTREME cases but it has happened.

my mods are below and the serv. mngr. at my dealer is well aware of most of them.he could care less.i dont BS him about it.ive had my rear and DS replaced/repaired under warranty.youre best bet is to use common sense.dont bring your car in with rubber in the wheel wheels and expect them to fix things you break under warranty.if a part breaks thats directly or indirectly related to a mod youve done talk to the serv. mngr. ahead of time and dont try to get over on them.once they find out theyll never work with you again and most likely void your warranty.i was talking to a tech one day as he was fixing some things under warranty and i was telling him how i changed my intake and pulley.he told me he didnt even notice.a friend of mine told me most techs and serv. mngrs. arent looking to void your warranty.i guess there are dealers that suck but that really isnt good business.theres laws protecting you also.warranties cant automatically be voided just because aftermarket parts are in place.they have to prove it caused the failure.
i highly recommend getting to know your serv. mngr. and techs at your dealer.it doesnt help throwing some work their way too.you help them theyll help you.

It's really not a big deal. If you are worried about it or can't find a mod friendly dealer in the area, and want to keep your warranty, just leave the car stock for 3 years. Shouldn't be a big deal, the newest F-body is an '02 so at this point you've only got a year or two left of warranty anyway even if you have an '02...
