Default Wonderful DRL/Turn signals in Trans Ams

Hello All,

I have a slightly unique issue with my turn signal in my 01 WS6 T/A. The passenger side had gone out recently and I have done the regular things like new socket, new bulb, dielectric grease, fuses. When the headlights are down all works well. When I turn on the headlights the passenger DRL goes dim and the turn indicator on the instrument cluster illuminates. The turn signal works but is very dim, even after dark. With cops being the wonderful human beings that we all know they can be I don't risk taking it out at dark. Any ideas?

Also on an unrelated issue has anyone else's rocker panels gotten very loose and caused a lot of bumping noises? Have tried JB Weld and some other "strong" adhesives but it keeps coming loose in the ends towards the rear wheels!

Thanks!
