Default Will i fit in a 2000 Z28? what about car seat? 911!

I have done as much google prowling, ls1tech prowling, you name it. I have read that baby seats fit just fine in the back seat. I just need to confirm. Also im 6'4 250lbs, i fit and drove a 87 gt mustang just fine back in the day. Should i be expecting the same amount of leg room and head room in a '00 z28 t top? it is a manual as well.

i need to know asap cause im in iraq and the wife is going to pick me up one tonight!

At 6' 4' you are going to hate the headroom i think. I'm a hair under 6' and its ok for me but much more and i think i'd be uncomfortable.

The baby seat will fit. Some fo the later cars came with hooks in the hatch area to secure a baby seat. I know my car has them

a friend of mine is 6'6" and he has a hardtop z28. i believe he feels comfortable in the car, but he always talks about how he would be screwed if he got into a car accident because he is so tall. aside from that, ive never heard him complain about the car. i think you will be fine to be honest.
at the end of the day, if you really like/want the car, you would probably do whatever it takes to make it work. i know i would.
hope this helps.

Head room will also depend on seat adjustment. If you like to have your seat back at a 90° angle to the seat bottom, then you'll have a lot less head room than people who keep it reclined a bit.

There are several people on here in the 6'4" range that I've see post about fitting OK. One of the guys that used to be in my club was 6'4" and drove around in a '01 WS6 without issues.

Almost 6'2 here and perfectly comfortable. You can always tilt the seat back a hair to get more headroom if you need it.

I'm 6'2-6'3ish and don't have any problems in mine, but I also like to have the seat reclined a little bit.

forward facing car seats fit fine, you just cant slide your seat too far back or you smash the kids legs, rear facing car seats put your knees into the steering wheel.

I'm 6'2 ish and fit in my 99Z just fine, just gotta tilt the seat back a little bit otherwise if I race from a dig the freakin visor swings back and hits my in the face but damn these camaro seats are starting to take a tole on my back. I'm gonna start looking for some trans am seats or a cheap set of racing seats.

LOL I thought I was the only one who had this problem! I'm 6'2 as well and other than the sun visors, I have no problems.

I'm about 6'3. It fine for me. Got adjustable steering wheel. I'm pretty good where ever the seat is but I have mine reclined a little. I have the seat all the way back though since I have long legs. Just cant have anyone sit behind you or its uncomfortable

My buddy is 6'5" and 280lbs, he hates being in my car. He says being in the drivers seat is tolerable, but being in the passenger seat with the bump in the floor is not at all comfortable lol
