I am looking at buying a 1999 camaro roller.

Can i put my lt1 in here? would i need to upgrade the harness, k-member, etc...?

k member no, harness yes. but that would be on the top ten stupid list for me???

lt1s were nice...back in the day. now ls1s are cheap and easy to mod, going to a lt1 would be a big step backwards. do a ls1. you can pick up a 5.3 for around 500 bucks

I would just need the harness from a 99 correct? I know that I would have to re-wire the ls1 harness to work with the lt1 but i am going to make the lt1 w/a carb so it would be even easier...

I like doing things different then other people. I like building stuff my own way and being unique =)

Ditch the LT1. Put a 5.3, 5.7, or one of the 6.0s in it. You could prolly sell the LT1 and pay for another motor almost even swap.
