Default How much fuel do you loose changing fuel filter?

Im going to change my fuel filter today. I understand all the steps in doing it but how much fuel am im going to loose when changing the filter? Reason i ask is my tank is full and it has that gumout fuel system cleaner additive stuff in it.

very lil amount wont fill a small can just be carful from the hose coming from tank it might have some fuel inthat might come directly into the eyes..its a 2 mins job.

Not a whole lot. release the pressure from the fuel system so you don't get your eyes soaked.

last time i did it, it was like 1/2 or 3/4ths of a cup.

Is very lil not a whole lot. Just what it has on the line very easy to do it 2.

Less then a cup and it doesn't really hurt that bad in the eyes.

yeah 2 minutes or less. just relieve the fuel pressure on fuel rails very simple job get you a catch pan when fuel hits ground makes cleanup alot easier

Just have the new filter ready, don't dilly dally around, and as soon as the other one is off, put the new one on Shouldn't be more than 1/2 a cup and 5 minutes of your time!

When I got my car the original owner never changed the fuel filter at all, so the bolts were so rusty that it seems like they were welded! What was suppose to be a 5 min job took an hr!
