So I have an LS1 out of a 99 T/A and plan on putting it in a 90 240sx with a T56.. I need an engine harness and found one through a member of this site. It is off an auto car. I was wondering if it is still usable with a 6spd tranny and jus not use the auto trans harness connectors? It doesnt seem like an easy feat but if it is possible I will go with it... This is my first LS project and I really need all the advice I can get from the people who know.. Thanks guys

You can use a manual tranny with an auto harness. You will just use the speed sensor plug and that's it. You will need to flash the computer to a M6 VIN or delete all the automatic codes. Either way it can be done fairly easy.
